Red, White & Blue

I'm so excited that 4th of the July celebration is coming up this weekend. It's by far one of my favorite holidays. Cookout, swimming, family, friends and fireworks. That spells Summer! This will be Conner's 1st of the many 4th of the July celebrations that he will have. I hope he will grow to love it as much as BG and I do. Speaking of red, white and blue. Conner is ALL SET for the 4th. He has a cute red shirt and a short. Those daring blue eyes and...guess what? Two new set of pearly white teeth! I couldn't believe he already has 2 teeth that cut through. Just in time! Guess I better keep my fingers out of his mouth from now and on. I don't wanna an owie!

Snuggle Bug

This is kinda surprising for me but my lil' bug has turned into a snuggle bug! He is too cute! For some random reason, Conner started to snuggle with me and Brian a lot lately. I'm not saying that I don't like it...I LOVE IT! I guess I didn't realized that little boys do too love to cuddle. So sweet! He would just climb into our arms and watch my favorite cooking shows (A+ for that!). Something about being close to each other warms our hearts. It made me smile thinking that is the way God made us to be. We forget our bad days, awful diapers and our messy house. Nothing else matter but LOVE. =)

Being An Aunt Rocks!

Robin & Dave Morehouse's kids are the greatest! Robin is BG's oldest sister. Being an aunt to my niece and nephews is an awesome experience. They are so full of life, love and smiles. They have this crazy funny mind and a big heart of God. I made a profile picture for each of them and I wanted to share it. Recently, they had their own day reserved on my Facebook wall. Like "It's Carter Morehouse's Day!" The kids really liked it. Glad I could do something to make them feel special!

Grr...I'm so sorry that I'm behind on updating about Conner. My internet kept crashing everyday. I mean EVERYDAY! That is why I haven't got around to posting a new blog about Conner. Seriously, he has grown so much! I will post a few new blogs. Thank you for your patience!

Gentlemen, start your engine! Let's the race began!

It's memorial day weekend. There's a big race (racing cars) going on today. My husband started to like to watch them. What does all this have to do with Conner anyway? Well, let me be the first to share you the news...Conner just started CRAWLING!! Two days ago, he finally figured out how to crawl "army style". It was slow motion but I was so excited! Yay for mama! Then yesterday, he crawled way more (and faster) than I had expected! I knew my life in the "chasing Conner until I drop dead" has begun. The race seem fitting considered that Conner had put my life in the race. I am racing to catch him! haha! I know that kinda sound silly. I am SO HAPPY for Conner. He has hit another big milestone today. He is capable of being mobile. I am thanking God for this new blessing. It's a good reminder that Conner is doing really well in develepment for motor skills. I guess I better get my running shoes on. I need to be prepare for a full week of "chasing Conner" around all day! =) I will post a video soon!

A Day At the Lake!

Today is "park day"! Growing up, my mom would take my brothers and I to a park. So we can meet with friends and just have fun. I'm so excited to take this tradition with my son. My mom invited Conner and I to go with her & my brother, Zach. We went to hang out with some of her friends. It was so beautiful! The park is right next to a lake with a beach. Perfect weather for the lake. It was Conner's first time going to the park and the lake. He absolutely LOVED it! I think he will be a natural outdoor kid. Here are some of the pictures of him enjoying the day!
