Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!

Dear Conner,

I can't believe it!!!! You're gonna be here tomorrow (possibly). I already have a silly song from Annie stuck in my mind. "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow! You're only a day away!" The doctor requested me to go to the hospital on Thursday, the 14th, to be induce. The reason why it's a week early from your due date is you're getting pretty big. My blood pressure is getting high which causes my foot to stay swollen. Plus I'm already 80% thinning out & 2cm. You're about ready to come! It's going to be the longest day of my life because I cannot wait to meet you, my beautiful angel! Everyone cannot wait to meet you too either! I wonder if you will have light or dark hair? Will you have green or blue eyes? Or maybe even have daddy's nose and my high cheekbone? Either way, you're gonna be the way God wants you to be. He wants you to be Conner Vance Green. =)

Love your very expected mommy!

don't forget...God love you too!

38 & 5 days along. 2 days before Conner comes!

Ultrasound video & pictures of Conner at 38 weeks

Dear Conner,

You're amazing! Did you know that? Today, your Mimi and I went to the doctor to have my regular check up. We wanted to make sure that you and I are doing great. We had an ultrasound done to see if you're growing good. This video is cool! We got to see the size of your head, your heartbeat and even hear your heart beating. You have a good rate of 141. We also checked to make sure there is enough fluids around you. Fluid keeps you safe. The doctor assumed that you weight around 8 & 1/2 pounds. Wow you're getting so big! What did I tell you about eating all those goldfish crackers? haha! You have the cutest nose! Probably got it from daddy's side of the family. I'm already dilated 2cm, so that means you may come sooner than expected. We will see! God knows which day and time is the best for you to come. I cannot wait to meet you very soon!! You make me smile!

Love your very excited mommy!

Fall 2010

Dear Conner,

October has already become my new favorite time of year. Not because of the crisp cool days, pumpkins, apple cider, corn maze or hay rides. It's because you're going to be born this very month. While I love to do all the fun activities such as State fair & corn maze, I am limited to do much. All I can really do is to rest and be prepare for your birth. I kept reminding myself that there will be many more years to come and take you on a fun trip. Maybe we will go camping in the Fall. Maybe we will get to have a pumpkin carving party. Maybe we will go to a Fall festival and get lots of candies. But I'm pretty sure we will celebrate your birthday, whichever day that may be. Fall 2010 is my new favorite time of the year, because it's when God gave me YOU!

Scrapbooking page--"Baby alert!"

A little something that I made on Picnik.com

I love quotes!

I love quotes. No matter what it is for. I found some really good ones about babies. Hope you'll like them.

A basket full of sunshine,
A house full of joy.
What could be sweeter,
Than a new baby boy.

A baby is nature's way of giving the world another chance.

A baby is God's opinion that life should go on.
   Carl Sandburg

When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all  went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.
Sir James Barrie in Peter Pan

There’s only one pretty baby in the world, and every mother has it.

A Baby is a bit of stardust blown from the hand of God!

Babies are always more trouble than you thought - and more wonderful than you ever dreamed. - Charles Osgood

I finally got a doctor appointment!!

Praise the Lord! After not being able to go to the doctor for 2 & 1/2 months, I finally got an appointment with a new doctor. There was a problem with my insurance which was a part of the reason for not being able to go. Plus we just recently move. So today, I went to the doctor yesterday for an check up on the baby. So far so good! I'm not dilated yet but the baby is in the right position. I'm 35 weeks along, which means I have 5 more weeks left! As time is getting closer, I am getting more excited to meet Conner. From now and on, I will be visiting the doctor weekly.  I can't believe that I'm going to be a full-time mommy! This should be interesting but fun! haha!

I got some baby info from the office and I was reading some facts. Thought I would share it here.

"Number of babies born in the USA in 2008---4,247,000"

"The average number of infants born per day in the U.S.---11,686."

"Record number of children born by one woman: 69. She gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets and 4 sets of quadruplet in Russia during the 1700s."

"7 out of 10 babies are late on arrival."

"Only 5% are born on their due date."

"The most popular day to be born is Wednesday."
